(Isaiah 43: 18-19 AMP) For every time we read the story of Jacob, we fall in love with the part where he changes his ways before God and man, and completely rescinds from his supplanting; we love how wrestled with angels; had a change of name, and became a great man like his father and grandfather. And while in the euphoria of those moments, we willfully forget about the part when he suffered, had difficulties and problems; and to top it all up ran away from his own brother and uncle afterwards. In other words, we forget the fact that prior to his successes, Jacob really had gigantic problems. He didn't have an easy life even though he came out with a victoriou
