DAILY VITAMIN  Some days back, i woke up with this consciousness that God loves us all. Prior to now, i used to think He loves only the obedient and righteous, but while that may be true, God loves everyone, even the sinner; and that's why He is willing enough to wait for their return- for love is patient (1 Cor 13:4). He is like a person who has life that he could have hoarded, yet without pleas from the external environ, rally around to make sure everyone has a bit of the same. In our world, the rich don't willingly share all their riches to their society, rather they pile it up, and give a bit under the banner of philantrophy, but God..... He gives it all. He gives all His life, all His love, all His peace if only we'd receive. The problem isn't that He isn't stretching out His hands, He always does, rather it is that we aren't stretching ours in response. So, know that God loves us all. Our faults may pin down that love, but it never really kills it (2 Sam

DAILY VITAMIN  One of the principles of a successful walk with God is the ability to shake it off. Jesus said "In this world you would have tribulations, but be of good cheer, i have overcome the world" (John 16:33). The act of being in good cheer is the process of shaking off every worrisome thought, every sorrow, every discouragement, every disappointment, and every thing that defies the exact word of God to His people. For instance, Paul had just suffered the worst shipwreck of his time, and in the suddenness of his eventual fate, God spoke to him through an angel that none of them were going to be given over to death (Acts 27:23-26). Such a comfort! I can almost imagine Paul basking in the euphoria of this great comfort, only for it to be subverted by the serpent. But notice that immmediately it struck, Paul didn't even bother to consider its opinions, or to negotiate what such omen spells out, he shook it off (Acts 28:5). DAILY VITAMIN  One of the most ironic deeds in our present world is how willing we are to think less of the best we can be, and more of how we wished we were like someone else. While it's good to have role models, to appreciate their achievements, and strive to do beyond their best, whenever we use statements like "I wish i were Mr so-so-so", what we do is indirectly tell God to have signed an obituary on the person He created, and give Mr so-so another chance to live through us. Due to this, we willingly place our inherent personalities in a non-existent mode, only to live a life we were never created to live. Let today change your mentality to focus more on awakening the sleeping giant in you instead of resurrecting a life already lived which is almost impossible, because the only life validated to be lived the second time through our lives is the life of Christ in us. DAILY VITAMIN  It's simple logic that without an input, there is no output. Without doing anything, nothing can be done. Scripture says "An empty stable stays clean, but there is no income from an empty stable" (Pro 14:4 TLB). A workshop without work to do stays tidy, but carries no gain with it. In essence, you might have been abused or hurt by various people, but except you find new relationships, you will never find the right persons. You might have been mocked everytime you attempted using the intellect God blessed you with, but except you step up once again to use the same, you may never get what God placed such a brain in you to achieve. A cruse not used is one that gets nothing. An unused engine wears out in time. Our inability to get our stables dirty might just cause the cessation of any form of an income- be it financial bliss, relationship bliss, spiritual bliss and what have you. DAILY VITAMIN  It is a natural instinct for God to always be mindful about the needs of those He calls His children. He makes it a priority to get them to their better days. Note this: regardless of how unlucky a person may be in life, his father never for once stop desiring the day when things would turn around for his good. It may not be revealed publicly, but deep within that concern over his son's goodwill remains, at least not until He sees it manifested. He felt that there were truths to be found in both of the books authored by God- the Book of Scripture and the Book of Nature. Francis Bacon, founder of the scientific method, on the other hand called them the "book of God's words" and the "book of God's works". Both of these books provide abundant evidence for a Creator. Through creation, God has made His presence known to us; such that you cannot just know about Him, but actually know Him personally. The curiousity of man and his sometimes spiritual indolence keeps God creating more platforms to stand as proofs not only of His existence, but also of His willingness to fellowship with us. Logically, the fall of man procreated an entry point for problems to afflict the souls of men, but without doubt, the man redeemed in Christ has received liberty from the bondage of sin and sorrow (Gal 3:13). What this means is that though you might be passing through some problems, but you're not licensed to remain in them. God's own blueprint for you as a Christian is that after your suffering seems to have prevailed a while, you receive heavenly backed settlement to make you strong and firm in a position He has prepared for you (1 Peter 5:10), even as His living light floods your path (John 8:12 TLB). DAILY VITAMIN  I heard the story about a young boy whom when he got a horse at 14, everybody mused about how lucky he was; they asked for his master's opinion, and he said 'watch and see'. Two years later, he fell off that horse and damaged his legs, and the same people grumbled about how he would have been okay if he never had gotten the horse in the first place; still his master's only response was 'watch and see'. A year after, a cold war broke out and the country had to enlist young lads into its infantry, but because this kid had damaged limbs, they chose to let him go, and once again the people sighed "Thank goodness he has bad legs, if not he could have been killed", yet his master said 'watch and see'. Months into the war, the opposition grew stronger, overpowering their stronghold, but whilst the few that could escape fled for their lives, the young lad couldn't. DAILY VITAMIN  Howard Thurman once said "The moment, the minute that this generation conquers fear, then that is the minute that the battle is won.....the skermishes will come, but the battle is won". We all have one life to live, at least on this earth, with each at least having an opportunity to make a different legacy than the ones we met, or more if lucky. At this moment of opportunity, taking forever to ponder about the idea would be a futile exercise entrapped in the paralysis of analysis, rather as this God given opportunity surfaces, CARPE DIEM (Seize The Day) should be our entire response. Willie Jolley advised that a change in our lives from a bad to a good state doesn't require a long time, rather only a minute; and i stand to agree with him, as our change truly comes the minute we decide to change. DAILY VITAMIN  Have you ever noticed that nothing really changes in life circumstances, just our feelings. Most times when problems come, and we don't have a good feeling about it, it's like we are raining bad karma concerning it, but when we've got some hopeful feeling, we act as if the problem doesn't exist. This twist and turn in human emotions is what eventually leads some to the suicidal route. The promises of God concerning you will always be there, for the fact that you abide in Him, and He will fulfil it not by the limits of chronological timing, but in His appointed time, yet it would never appear as it is if you keep giving in to mere feelings. Know this: feelings have no respect for faith, it only responds how the external stimuli triggers it to, such that when the fire gets all our possessions, it keeps believing all hope is lost. But God is saying; Never get your hopes down, and this we do by simply consciously choosing to embrace faith other than mere fee

  Different people grieve in different ways. Some find it easy to adjust to how people want them to feel, while others do not. As such, it becomes absurd to repeatedly tell these individuals that we know how they feel, because truth is we cannot always know how they feel. The Proverbs state that "Only the person involved can know his own bitterness or joy- no one else can really share it" (Pro 14:10 TLB). Let's not always try to play the familiarity card with everybody we come across with an issue worth crying about. Don't think the extent of pain the poor kid is experiencing is nothing to worry about because you were once poor. Don't assume the broken relationship won't make her suicidal because you bounced back from the same a long time ago. Don't believe all single moms find it easy because you did, or that all rape victims will easily recover since you did. Don't think the boy without funds for an education will be alright because yo

DAILY VITAMIN  Are you experiencing certain setbacks that make you doubt if indeed God has any such thing as a good plan for you? Are you having retrenchments and retrogression instead of progression? And delay and denials instead of favours all around? For one, it could be that God's preparing you for something greater as He did with Joseph, and this,despite the pain,is just a preparatory period for your awaiting crown; since His plans remains ever of peace and goodwill to those who reverence Him in words and deeds. But on the other hand, it could also be as a result of our doing things against His precommanded instructions for us. DAILY VITAMIN   When bad things happen, we are left with two options- To either maul ourselves in tears even as we sing the 'give up' song, or take up a little courage to believe things would get better again. People are suffering in this world, and perhaps you might have had an experience yourself, yet in these sufferings the only way out is to chin out in courage and forge ahead for better experiences. God never tells us that we won't meet any form of challenges on this earth, but He did say that we must continue without giving up if we want to reap all we were purposed to receive (Gal 6:9). Courage to believe things as God said it would be keeps a man in the way God wants Him to be at the moment. DAILY VITAMIN   What do you think make you and your relatives a family? What do you think encloses you and your siblings in the bond of familyhood? When i say family, i mean it not in the context of an institutionalized group, but as a bond that makes you all an item.So, is it our blood? No, because to our ignorance, there might be numerous individuals that share at least a parent with us without our knowing, and yet we don't feel forced to love this unknown people because really we don't know them. In fact, that bully in school you hate so much could just be a brother you never knew. Thus, our blood line doesn't coerce us into loving them as a family. So, is it our location? No, because from regular experiences, we know that living together with people doesn't make us love them anymore than we naturally can. If this was enough, the rate of divorces won't skyrocket every quarter of a year. Thus, not our location either. So, if it isn't the blood we share, nor

DAILY VITAMIN   How hungry are you to be a blessing? How hungry are you to live the Good life? We all desire to be living proofs of God's words; and guess what, God has convicted the hungry to complete satisfaction (Matt 5:6), at least when they choose to chew from their own pots. The foregoing as a metaphor connotes their willingness to stay with God's plans for their lives, following His route to their path of blessedness. Our greatest ideas may not be God's ideal for us; such that even though we have the compassion to save lives, becoming physicians may not be God's plan through which we manifest such compassion. Our own cooked up ideas may seem fruitful and feasible, but except it's our own destiny and not someone else's, it can never be the perfect match of God for us. Our intentions may be good- that is, we may really from our hearts want to help eradicate suffering, or cease corruption, or help the sick, or be polite to people, but it is the path we choo

DAILY VITAMIN    Dr Mary Swope wrote "The monetary system of this world is crumbling. It will not be long until utter chaos will reign. No human mind will be able to solve the problems created by this collapse. Frantic and fearful fighting will occur. Fortunes will be lost overnight. DAILY VITAMIN -Finding A Balance  I have come to realize through observations that the major reasons why certain people act abruptly in relationships are Insecurity and Selfishness. Even in our relations with God and men, these two anomalies prove potent against growth or an increase in closeness between two individuals. 1) INSECURITY: Insecurity is self disapproval. Insecure people tend to disqualify themselves from being fit enough to handle certain individuals as familiars. On the side of the line, we might sense it as pride on their part, but truth remains that not only are they fearful of what they believe might occur or how huge that step might prove to be, they also are pressure-prone and so avoid any experience that might induce such in their lives. Peter showed this sign, when even without any sign of condemnation from Jesus, just a head start for a friendship, he disqualified himself saying "I'm too much of a sinner for you to have around" (Luke 5:8 LB); and

DAILY VITAMIN  What is failure? When can it be finalized that a man has failed? Failure is not starting out wrong, because as far as you find yourself back you didn't completely fail. Failure is not falling down sometimes, because as far as you can get up you didn't fail. Failure is staying wrong, even when you've been shown the right path. Failure is falling off, and refusing to get back on track. Before God, we are not judged by our past- men may do that, but God doesn't, He judges us with the present. So, the world might have judged us as failures because we had a few lapses in time past, yet it doesn't mean we are unless you agree with them. You do not become a failure by the actions people throw at you, but by the reaction you respond with. Yea, they say you fell, but the real question is, are you willing to remain fallen. DAILY VITAMIN  We live in a world of formalities, where owning a book is more important than having any knowledge of it; where a college degree seems to be greater than expertise in your field of study; where going to church appears more needful than living the life it teaches; and just having a family is more necessary than living happily with it. We abdicate priorities just for the purpose of appeasing society's demands; such that in an attempt to just go with the world's flow, we fail both God and men. This same society condemns you when you choose to stay alone void of relationships, yet it condones negligence and bitterness in such relations. DAILY VITAMIN  There exists a certain set of individuals who demerit themselves into thinking that all God has made available for the good of mankind on the earth is meant only for those who are the opposite of every thing they are. Such that if they are black, then He's only favourable to the Non-blacks; if they are tall, then He's only favourable to the average heighted; if they were born poor, then He's only favourable to those born rich. This mentality that suggests God as being partial and unjust in His judgments has readily ruined many lives indeed, because while God expects them to be beneficiaries of all He's supplied in His grace, this group still stay awe-struck, but in a bad way, that out of their self-disqualifying state of mind they write themselves off, and never end up receiving any of the supplied benefits from God. DAILY VITAMIN  The onus of time is to give all generations to come an experience of what is appropriate and what is not in order for them to improve their well-being; and time over and over has shown that impatience is the rifle that kills him who wields it for his own benefit. From Bible stories to modern realities, it still stands its ground as such. For instance, Achan's death and his entire family abysmal end resulted from his impatience covered by the cloak of greed.
