Faith Your Way Through It All (1)

DAILY VITAMIN
- Faith Your Way Through It All (1)
"[What, what would have become of me] had I not believed that I would see the Lord's goodness in the land of the living!" (Psalm 27:13 AMP)
Most times, the problems we face in our lives are orchestrated and cemented by us. That is, not the devil or anyone else, but ourselves, are responsible for why oftentimes we don't receive our sought after reliefs.
How? We may say.
When Jesus healed the man born blind, they asked, 'Who did sin?' and Jesus responded 'None, but that the work of God might be made manifest' (John 9:1-4). But in a similar context, when He had called Peter to walk with Him upon the sea, and Peter fidgeted as he saw the blistering waves, sinking eventually; at the sight of this, Jesus said 'Why did you doubt?'
Note the difference: In the first case, though the reason for the problem seemed unsearchable, Jesus excused the victim; but in the second under similar condition, Jesus blamed the victim; and this is because, as we also are guilty of, the victim overwhelmed his miracle into non-existence with his doubts: that is, he doubted it unto nothingness, and it became nothing indeed.
Relative to us, each and every passing day, we face one major problem, and that is believing that God can actually do what He promised He would do. Though we read it... heard it... saw it in the mirror of the lives of men, but when it comes to believing it, we make it temporal as something written to be erased.
Though we may claim that our doubts resulted from ambiguous factors that crave themselves against us- a bad experience, past disappointments and a shaky present, but remember that no matter how bad your case might be, it can never be as bad as that of the thief on the cross whom, against all odds, still chose to believe even when the attitude of majority toward Christ gave him no reason to.
Therefore, in that life-scaring condition you find yourself, I want you to stay believing in God, even when the present outcomings don't encourage you to. Choose to believe that He won't forsake you in that situation. Choose to keep trusting Him; for assuredly I can tell you that God never fails, even as Isaiah said '...He will answer thee...' (Isaiah 30:19) in due time...... Only stay believing in Him, obeying Him, so as to see those problems become extinct before you!
