See It God's Way

DAILY VITAMIN
- See It God's Way
"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11 TLB)

Have you ever noticed how at some point in your life when everything seemed to be going AWOL, then all of a sudden something great came out of it all? At least I have seen it happen without number in my life and others'. Well, that's exactly what God does for a living- turning bitter sources into a spring of life.
Just like most of us, one man who had a myriad of experience regarding this has to be David. David once said that he would have fainted if he hadn't believed to see God's goodness in his life. And went ahead in advising us to wait patiently for all God has promised regardless of what we are currently going through (Psalm 27:13-14). And believe me, he knows what he was talking about.
For instance, David had been told he had been chosen by God to rule His people, but from that day, troubles never ceased to stop harassing him. On this certain period of life, he found himself in servitude to the king of Philistia. For months, David had destroyed enemy nations while deceiving the king that he was on rampage against the cities of Israel. Then the day came when the actual battle between the two kingdoms was set. The Philistine king wanted him to accompany them, but his commanders refuted the very idea. While David felt somewhat dejected and not trusted, he failed to understand what was really going on in disguise -and you will learn a lot from this; which was that:
1. God was sparing him from engaging in warfare with the nation he was bound to rule. God thereby saved him from the treachery that would have forever smeared his image in Israel.
2. God was sending him home early to save his household that had been kidnapped. Spending more days on that mountain could have given the Amalekites more time to escape farther. And so while he thought he was being rejected, he was actually being assisted.
In the same way, I don't know what you may be passing through, but I know there is surely good at the end. The harvest may not come in, but this will only end with you in high places (Habakkuk 3:17-19). Like Isaiah said, at night you may see terror, but at dawn it will all be gone (Isaiah 17:14). There's more to what's happening than you can see. God is working out a miracle where you only saw a mire; an appointment where you only had disappointments; and an allure of glory where you often met failure. Look at Abraham's story: "...Then God brought him here to the land of Israel, but gave him no property of his own, not one little tract of land. However, God promised that eventually the whole country would belong to him and his descendants..." (Acts 7:4-5 TLB). It did happen, didn't it?
In the same way, simply believe and trust Him. With time, the true picture quality will come forth. "The least one shall become a thousand [a clan], and the small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its [appointed] time." (Isaiah 60:22 AMP)

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you because regardless of what I see, I know all things will come to materiality as you have promised. All things are working together for my good. I thank you for your grace, and I thank you because your glory shall be revealed in my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
