Walking In Love

DAILY VITAMIN
- Walking In Love
"Love one another with brotherly affection [as members of one family], giving precedence and showing honor to one another." (Romans 12:10 AMP)
One beaut of the Scripture is that it shows us the depth of God's heart, and how big it is springing out of itself so great a love towards us. It reveals His mind and His intention towards us. And do you know what that is? Good, hope, and peace (Jeremiah 29:11)
And the truth is, unless we learn to appreciate and build ourselves on this love, we cannot completely conform to the Person of Christ (Philemon 1:6) - for if we are complete in Him, then we must live as He lived.....in the love of God.
Showing love to others does not give a confirmatory guarantee that they would love you back, but it sure does show that we are doing what God does, and living as He lives. We may not choose who loves us, but we choose who we love, and God calls us to love all men without measure; for at the rendering of His only begotten to redeem us, God played a huge game of risk; not minding whether or not this same men would conform to His plan, yet He still expressed the greatest love of all times towards man to leave with him an impact that he wouldn't be forgetting in a long time....the impact of being loved even when he was unloveable (Romans 5:8).
Thus, as Children of God, with gifts and fruit immeasurable, to complete our wholeness in Christ we must as well replicate this greatest love lifestyle towards ourselves, and towards others......for as Paul wrote...''Though I speak in tongues (GIFT).....and have not love, I am nothing''(1 Cor 13:1-2).
Everything we do in the Kingdom has its essence in love. This means that not how mighty our acts are, but how loving they are, that truly reveals how much of Christ we are becoming in expression; for as a tree without fruit is unprofitable, so also is likeness without expression unprofitable.
And so on that note, if we must be like Christ, let us be in words and in deeds; in likeness and in expressions: for to stand before Him, to stay in Him, to live through Him, to walk with Him, and to be as He is, we must first be like Him, and live by Him. "You are of the light; therefore walk ye as children of the light" (Ephesians 5:8)
Though I might say this is the centre of Christianity, but I'd prefer to call it the heart of Godliness: for if God did show it, then in likeness to Him, I believe we must also.
Hence, learn to love...for only in love do we find true living!
