Like Abraham, Like You

DAILY VITAMIN
- Like Abraham, Like You
"Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you; for I called him when he was but one, and I blessed him and made him many." (Isaiah 51:2 AMP)
In the days of Abraham's trials, God arose and spoke the most comforting words he needed to hear at that barren state of his home....the words....'I will make thee a nation'... A man who had no seed was promised he would breed trees with multiple branches; and yet in the midst of disbelief, this man still chose to believe.
Note, Abraham's nationhood began twenty-five years after the promise, but was made a reality two generations after him when the twelve tribes were established. But what's important was that God saw it, told him, and he believed.
You would notice that he believed not because he outrightly saw the seed, or the tree that was promised: No! He believed, rather on the platform of what he could see of himself through Him who promised, and was also able to perform the enterprise (Roman 4:21).
Against all odds, against hope, he still chose to have hope, for while the visible displayed before him the nothing he had, the invisible God and his faith in Him made him see the presently imperceptible 'something' that awaited him.
Thus, as Abraham, many of us may be experiencing similar ordeals, and against all hope, have nothing to hold on to other than God's ever true words. I would advice that we keep holding strongly to that, for while it may seem not forthcoming, always remember that God has seen it all, and if He has, then surely it is a reality. In time, you will too.
Take it upon yourself to keep trusting and believing Him in spite of all that may be happening around you. God's integrity is enough reason that He would keep His promise to you (Numbers 23:19). But you have to have faith in that integrity to bring forth the integral portion of the promises into manifestation in your personal reality. If you're finding it hard to stay strong in faith at this moment, then pray for the strength you need. The Holy Spirit is always to help us when we are at our weakest point; and He won’t leave you now (Hebrew 13:6). But by all means, keep believing.
Hence, to reap and live in the realm where promises become realities, I'd implore you to stay believing as father Abraham of blessed memory did; for in believing, there is always more room for receiving!
