What God's True Emissaries Must Do

DAILY VITAMIN
- What God's True Emissaries Must Do
"Welcome those who are weak in faith...." (Romans 14:1 GNB)
From the Genesis, when God rolled open the curtain for life to have its way upon the earth above the darkness that once overwhelmed it, we can clearly see that segregation was never God's doing. He brought all of creation under one umbrella of love, and nurtured them through the man of His likeness, Adam.
The act of castigating others, calling them all sort of names was never part of God's nature, as we saw reflected through Christ Jesus, and neither should it be His children's.
Though some people may argue that He separated the Israelites from surrounding nations in old times. True, but this He did not because He had written the whole world off, but for the purpose of protecting the vulnerable Israelites, to whom He had made the pioneers of the promise and were yet highly susceptible to negative influences; because even though He set these nations aside, He also said as well ''Yet will I gather others to him (the Chosen) beside those that are gathered unto him''(Isaiah 56:8):
Little wonder why Peter revealed that 'God has shown me never to call any man unclean or common (Acts 10:28).
So, this is it; never fence your life on judging others, rather help convert them by imparting the Person of Christ into them. Exactly why Jesus instructed Peter to convert others when he himself has been converted.
People will never get to know God if we don't bring them to Him. We are called into the ministry of reconciliation, not condemnation: to save men not to judge them. God is the judge of all men, not us, not even the angels; for if we were to be judged as we judge them, then we wouldn't even have the life we have today.
In Romans 14:4, we are told how to do it the Christian way. Paul said "Who are you to pass judgment on and censure another's household servant? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he shall stand and be upheld, for the Master (the Lord) is mighty to support him and make him stand" (AMP). While Jude admonished us to "[Strive to] save others, snatching [them] out of [the] fire; on others take pity [but] with fear, loathing even the garment spotted by the flesh and polluted by their sensuality" (Jude 23 AMP). The sin may be too pervasive to accept, but the sinner must always be permitted to enjoy the same gift of salvation. And that my friend is God's word for you today.
It is not a Christian life if it doesn't show. Light cannot be hidden. And light never discriminates; on the contrary it transforms. It exposes the flaw and provides the means to eradicate it. Jesus is our means. So, rather than leaving them in the darkness of damnation, bring them to Jesus for their transformation. This is what you were born to do.
Hence, stay non-judgemental.....and more impartational towards others....changing lives for the best!
