Supernaturally Protected (1)

DAILY VITAMIN
- Supernaturally Protected (1)
"But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord." (Isaiah 54:17 AMP)
Have you ever read of what seemed to be an "arrogant speech" from Paul to the Roman Church? Well, it might seem arrogant to the narrow minded, but it wasn't. What it was is the truth. Paul said "if God be for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31); and in the same vein to the Hebrew church, the writer says "I will not fear what man can do unto me" (Heb 13:6).
This I said might appear as excesses of arrogance to some unbelieving folks, but it wouldn't if they understood where he was coming from. The writer to the Hebrew church gives us the reason for his claims and confidence; he said "For He said, I will never leave you nor forsake you" (v. 5). While Paul had said that "whom He justified, them He also glorified" (v.30). So, now we know what made them that audacious.
However, what did they understand that we don't that has made some of us easy preys of fear? Isaiah said that it is our heritage as saints of God to be unscathed by the attempts and accusations of the wicked because God will deliver us. He goes further to tell us that even when this enemy comes, God will lift up a standard of defense against them on our behalf (Isaiah 59:19). That's somewhat similar to what David said, "Though all nations compass round about me, but in the Name of the Lord I shall destroy them all" (Psalm 118:10). What this then means is that you're untouchable in the Lord. The sicknesses may come, but God said they will not overcome us. Remember, the Righteous might be afflicted, but God will deliver him completely (Psalm 34:19). He has His seal upon you, and it says Touch Not.
Hence, don't be scared. The enemy might have a frightful face, but God promises that at the end they shall be the ones afraid of us. So, we are divinely guarded by the Great One. We are not left unprotected. Never believe the devil has you at the palm of his hands because of your present condition, for God says that even when you pass through fiery circumstances He will be with you (Isaiah 43:2). Live life everyday in the confidence exuded from this understanding, knowing that whether it be day nor night, God has you supernaturally protected. Hallelujah!
