- Adopting The Kingdom Life

"And He will give them to you if you give Him first place in your life and live as He wants you to." (Matt 6:33 TLB)

The above scripture is simply telling us all to seek to make Him known and to know Him. That's all that matters. Everything we could seek out of life is found in that simple practice. Is it good health? A fulfilling life? A great marital life? A sound financial life? Or wisdom? All come as an addendum when we do that. This is what Jesus came to teach us. He didn't come to give us a religion. Man had that already. He came to give us this Kingdom life and to show us how to live it (John 10:10). 

The Kingdom life is a life focused on God. In this life, we aren't the protagonists. God is. So, out problems aren't the main highlights, He is. That means only what He says matters as truth. In other words, even when you don't look or feel good and He tells you you are you are. Even when you don't know where your next meal will come from and He tells you not to worry but trust Him, you trust. In the Kingdom life, we believe God more than our symptoms,because we know our source, cause, beginning and end is from Him and nothing else. Thus, you see the man with this mindset of the Kingdom not complaining when others are in a recession because he knows where his true source lies. He knows the God who rains down manna in dey areas knows no recession. It is a life of complete faith and reliance on whom God is as against whatever we might be up against. And this is how we live in His perfect strength when we are at our weakest. Again, it is a life of faith, ad the kind Christ expects us to live.

A friend once told me that in a Kingdom, the reputation of the king is highly dependent on the welfare status of his domain. That's why the king never sleeps except the domain sleeps. And doesn't rest unless all is well with his people. Imagine God's kingdom in that light. A kingdom of which you are part of. He doesn't sleep nor slumber, He says, untill all is good with His people. And you are His people. So He is always going to do all that's beneficial for you. All He needs of you is to seek to make Him known and to know Him more and more and every other thing will be yours. Healing, restoration, everything will be added to you. Plus remember that those who seek God will always be sought of men. So you can go ahead and add honor to that list.

Hence, knowing this, today choose a life that is God-centered and watch every other thing in this universe and beyond align to make you it's center of attention.

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
