Don’t Be Deceived, God Is Real

- Don’t Be Deceived, God Is Real

“The fool has said in his heart, There is no God” (Psalm 53:1)

God exists whether you believe it or not. Ignorance doesn’t override truth. It’s like saying hunger doesn’t exist because you’ve never gone starving all your life. Well, just take a trip down the block and you’d find out just how wrong you are. The same goes with our belief about the existence of God.

We judge things sometimes on the basis of perception; which is fair by all standards, but could also be a faux pas, seeing how limited human perception can be. The fact that we don’t see a thing doesn’t mean it isn’t there. The fact that we don’t know a thing doesn’t make it unreal. Forget what they say about how what we don’t know can’t kill us because it will kill us and then bury us for free. So please wake up, don’t confuse your lack of comprehension to mean a lack of presence. God is real.

He says He is I AM, and whether you accept that or not, He still remains I AM. All the signs are there to prove it. But I’m not going into that today. A lot of materials have already been written extensively on that subject. Read them. However, I’d like to talk about something skeptics and atheists have used for years as a reason to back up their claims. That is “if God created everything, who created God?” Well to them, I’d like to ask, “If the universe came from an unprecedented big bang, who brought about the big bang?” ‘A previous chain of reactions’ would be their preferred answer, but then again who set the chain in motion? These folks avoid the second question but think the first argument about God will stand. Well it doesn’t. And this is because every effect has a cause, except God that is, because He is not an effect, He is a cause; the cause of all things.

You see, no one has to create God for there to be a God. He is the uncreated Creator of all things. The uncaused cause. He had been before all things and will be after all is gone. But here’s the best part: He knew many will doubt (Isaiah 53:1); yet that doesn’t mean they are right. Anyway, now that you believe, don’t let them deceive you. Don’t even let your circumstances confuse you. There is a God in heaven. Very soon all shall be revealed and you shall see that your faith in Him was never misplaced.
