- Trust In The Lord To Direct You

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart...and He shall direct your path. " (Proverbs 3:5-6)

The Bible tells us that everything we see a farmer do, he does because he has been given insight. It says there is no plowing without an intention to sow,  or harrowing without a desire to plant; so when you see the farmer plowing, it is because he has seeds. And these seeds are treated differently; but here's the good part: This wisdom is given to him of God (see Isaiah 28:23-29).

What that means is that God provides the insight the farmer needs to plant right and harvest right, and then grants him seeds also (Isaiah 55:10). In the same way,  He can provide the insight and resources you need to succeed regardless of what your career path might be. Are you in business, publishing, entertainment,  ministry, healthcare, administration? It doesn't matter; God can help you supersede the unexpected levels others call the limit. The wisdom to do so comes only from Him, and you need only ask (James 1:5). He will not withhold it from you especially when you've chosen to rely on His guidance than your own wits. 

It is said that once you decide to trust God wholeheartedly enough to let Him lead,  He will direct your path into unmatched success. So,  this morning, do just that. Trust God enough to ask for His wisdom; for ideas that will break limits and records,  and believe you me He will answer in His time.

Giving Generously

DAILY VITAMIN  There is a difference between giving and giving generously. Generosity is more than just how much you give, but how hearted you do. What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. Richly, not in terms of quantity or even quality, nor quantifiable mass, but richly based on how much from the heart it is given. Was the heart rich in compassion, God's love and mercy as it gave? Or was it full of egotism, self-pride and every trait that makes him believe it is all in his power? Remember, a broken heart and a contrite spirit[full of the first traits], God wil not despise (Ps 51:17); and as long as there is a willingness of heart and readiness of mind[spurred by genuine love], it is acceptable towards God (2 Cor 8:11-12). DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.
