- God Will Meet You Where Your Faith Stops (1)

“…According to your faith be it unto you.” (Matthew 9:29)

The Lord responds to us in accordance to our faith. That’s the reason why A gets healed without visiting a hospital and B is only cured by visiting one. He works on us as our faith permits. Consider Jairus and Jesus. Jesus had to take the long walk back to his house to heal his daughter, but do you think that was necessary? Not really. He did so because that was the condition Jairus’s faith placed on Him. Jairus said he believed she could come back to life, but only if Jesus came home to touch her (Matt 9:18). That’s why He had to go to the house.

Before then, we see Jesus heal a certain centurion’s servant in a similar deathly condition without moving a foot (Matt 8:13). Again, the centurion conditioned Him. He told Jesus his servant would be healed if Jesus only spoke the word (v.8-9). So, you see, Jesus works according to the faith of men. 

Thus, what do you believe Jesus can do for you today? Heal you? Help you? Guide you? Promote you? Enrich you? Whatever it is you believe, He can do it for you. Remember, scripture says whatever you ask for, believe you have received, and you shall (Mark 11:22-24). If you will only believe. That’s all it takes; for all things are possible to the man who believes (Mark 9:23). And that can be you today. It shall be you.

What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
