- Jesus Knows All You're Going Through

"Because He Himself [in His humanity] has suffered in being tempted, He is able to help and provide immediate assistance to those who are being tempted and exposed to suffering." (Hebrews 2:18 AMP)

Who else will you trust in times of need than He who has been in that same situation at some point? That is why Jesus is our perfect advocate. He knows how we feel, because He has also felt it. The scripture says He is constantly touched with the feelings of our infirmities (Hebrews 4:15); and why is this so? Because it is He "who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity." (Hebrews 5:2). 

And why should we trust Him? Because though He "was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin" (Hebrews 4:15). That is, it didn't surmount Him. He overcame it all. And so in Him we can find the strength to overcome it too. The Bible then says He has made grace and mercy available in Himself to help us scale through at such times as this (Hebrews 4:16). It says also that knowing how difficult it can get, He is always interceding for us (Romans 8:34).

So, believe me, you are not alone. You may feel like there is no one, but Jesus is there with you. He sees what you are going through, understands it, and is willing to help you overcome it (Hebrews 7:25). Just look up to Him. Just focus on Him. He came out of it all unscathed, you will too. You will not fail in faith; you will not disappoint God. He didn't, you won't either. Thus, just focus on Him, and obtain grace to help you in such a time as this. It is abundantly sufficient for you.

DAILY VITAMIN  There is a difference between giving and giving generously. Generosity is more than just how much you give, but how hearted you do. What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
