Embrace The Move of God

DAILY VITAMIN

- Embrace The Move of God

"On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place." (Zech 12:6 NIV)

The age of this time is one God set out for exploits. It is referred to as the last days; so every time you see the phrase in the last days in scripture, He is speaking about this day--our day.

In fact, every day after the LORD resurrected was, and is, yet the last day. So, the promise of dominion is very much relevant even right now.

Consider Isaiah 2:2-4. "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more."

God speaks of a time when the saints will have actual dominion on the earth; and this isn't when Jesus returns. It will herald that day. Little wonder Jesus said we would do greater things than He could. But how do we join this chariot of dominion? Verse 5 tells us. " O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord."

It is the first and only way.

In Zechariah 12:8, the Bible says such folks will operate like God on earth, something He already gave Moses a foretaste before Pharaoh; but the promise wasn't theirs in time past, but ours now in Christ Jesus. Notice what Zechariah also said in Chapter 8. "Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord. Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you" (v. 22-23).

They will seek God for help, but because they can't find Him, they will run to us. We would be the God they can see--as lights in the darkness as Jesus spoke of. So, don't waste any time, walk in this light.
