- Follow God's Plan

"For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]." (Ephesians 2:10 AMP)

A lot of people are frustrated because they are living a life which is piloted by themselves. But that isn't how we were created to live. As semi-independent beings, we were designed to live after God's guidance; it is where our peace lies. And the scripture says this way we experience His exquisite pleasures ( Psalm 16:11). 

Isaiah said He keeps in perfect peace those whose hearts are stayed on Him (26:3). Those who follow after His plans for their lives. Those who live within the boundaries of His will. So if you notice that life is nothing other than a struggle for you, take inventory of how you have lived thus far. Are you following God, or are you just following you? 

Remember, as long as the disciples were rowing alone to their strength, the storm continued, but as soon as they let Jesus into the boat, it stopped. Thus, let Jesus into your boat today by learning to live after His will. And this you can do by letting His Word and Spirit guide you. His Word is a light to our path (Psalm 119:105) and His Spirit leads us into all truth (John 16:33). This is destiny: Living the life God has planned for you; and if you follow His plan today, you will get there.

DAILY VITAMIN  There is a difference between giving and giving generously. Generosity is more than just how much you give, but how hearted you do. What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
