- God Is Good, Trust Him 

"...trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first, and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success." (Proverbs 3:5-6 TLB) 

Indeed, God is great. 

Every time I read Noah's story, I wonder how he was able to build such a magnificent structure that could carry the weight of all the creatures in the world except the aquatics in pairs of sevens and twos. The creatures must have been innumerable, yet it housed them all perfectly. 

But then we realize that it was God who gave Noah the schematics. God knew what He wanted, and He knew how to get it done. All Noah had to do was do "according to all that the LORD commanded him" (Genesis 7:5). 

As long as he did that, all was fine. And it is the same with us. We have to trust God and everything will be fine. If we have lived long enough, we'd have realized that most times things don't go according to our plans, but they always go according to God's words. And in this life of faith in God, trust is paramount. 

That is why Solomon urged us not to lean on our own wisdom, but to trust in Him; because He is good, and will lead us in the perfect path. Yes! God is good. You may be passing through a hard time now, but recall that it is He who makes the crooked places straight again and gives rivers of water in a dry place. 

Hence, it is only wise to trust in the One who can help you when no one else can. 

PRAYER: 

Dear God, I thank you because you've never disappointed me. Your Word says that even when we are weak in faith, you remain faithful to us. Lord, I'm choosing to trust you today in all aspects of my life, and I'm confident Lord Jesus that you won't fail me, not now, not ever. Amen.

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
