Enriched In All Things

DAILY VITAMIN

- Enriched In All Things

"God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing" (Psalm 23:1 MSG)

Apostle Paul, writing to the Church in Achaia, said "I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; that in everything ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: so that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 1:4-7).

Did you see that? "Enriched" in everything and every way. David experienced it, and now Paul was confirming its reality in the lives of the saints; because even though times change, God never changes. It says He has enriched us in everything by the grace given us by Christ Jesus. What that means is that even if it seems like you don't have all you need, all you need to get all you would have has been imprinted upon you.

Little wonder why Paul went ahead to tell the same church that since they are Christ's, all things are theirs (1 Corinthians 3:21-23). Not some, he said all. This can be asserted by his words to the Ephesian church, in which we are told that we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (1:3).

Peter also affirms the same things, saying that He (God), according to His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). And how did we get here?  ".....through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue". It is where the glory, wisdom, and might are (Jeremiah 9:23-24).

So knowing Jesus brought us here. The day He sanctified us- becoming our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption, He enriched us with all things that are His. He brought us into the realities of His likeness. And believe me, this is your reality today : A life of enrichment.

Psalm 68:19 tells us that God blesses us each day with benefits; then how can we ever be in lack? David understood this and so should we. Hence, don't let the present circumstances ruin your faith, bank on His Word; for He says "God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work... being enriched in everything to all bountifulness... " (2 Corinthians 9:8-11). And it shall be so for you today.
