- God Still Does Wonders

"Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number" (Job 9:10)

After seeing the miracle of Jesus, the people exclaimed "We have never seen this kind before" (Mark 2:12). It was unfathomable to their understanding. And that is still the God we serve. The God who does the unfathomable; the never seen before kind of deeds. 

Our opening scripture tells us that God is He "which does great things past finding out; yes, and wonders without number". He is a wonder working God. A lot of people sink into unbelief because they have judged their situation as unsalvageable. They have evaluated their condition - sickness and poverty, hardship and rejections, and finalized that God can't help them. 

From the look of things, it may seem like they are right. The rent is due in a day and no money is available yet. The sickness is at a terminal stage with only a few days left to count. The poverty is so harsh, you can't see relief coming from anywhere. But God says in spite of these all, "is there anything too difficult for me?" (Jer 32:27).

You may not have seen a feasible solution based on your own assessments, but help will come. Like David, you might look around and find no help coming from the hills, but don't fret, look up child, because your help has come. Yes, it has, from the LORD. And the scriptures say on that day it shall be like a dream (Psalm 126:1).

Consider what Isaiah 51:11 says. It states that the LORD shall come to you with singing, and everlasting joy shall be your portion. He said you shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. You might not understand the how behind it, but God can- and will -do it (1 Cor 2:9).

What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN - See It God's Way "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
