- There Is Only One Way

"And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 AMP) 

I read the story of a political figure in Africa who before his death asked his wife to bury him with all of his money so that when he gets to the place of judgment he could buy his way to paradise, knowing he couldn't get there otherwise being an agent of tyranny whilst alive. It sounds funny, right? Well, I'll tell what's funnier; that a lot of people also take this ideology to be true. Yes, that's the truth; many a person still live with this mentality. That "there are other ways to get to heaven" miseducation. 

However, the scripture already told us that in that day of the Lord's wrath, money will fail. Zephaniah puts it in a rather lucid way. He said "...the mighty man shall cry there bitterly... Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD's wrath (1:14-18). So,  when it comes to the eternal verdict of the soul, your money is no good. It can't buy you a place with God; because the rule of judgment isn't set by the level of affluence, but by sincere pursuit and fellowship with God (v. 6). 

And you'd notice I placed fellowship after pursuit, because a lot of people have the zeal; but unfortunately the zeal doesn't save, only the knowledge of Him does. And there's only one way to attain that. Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth,  and the Life; no man comes to the Father, but by me" (John 14:6).

There's no other way to the Father's heart except through Jesus. He is the only means to pass from death unto life in the eyes of God (John 5:24). The people of Capernaum came to Jesus to enquire about how they could please God, and He said by believing in He that had been sent (John 6:29). You see, while men may have their many inventions, ideologies and philosophies for saving the eternal soul, there is only one eternal way to find access with the Father; and that is by believing and receiving the person of Christ Jesus as Lord - for it is He who has brought us into peace and fellowship with God (Romans 5:1-2). So, if you have already, rejoice; but if you haven't yet, you can do that right now, just say

Prayer:

Lord Jesus,  I believe that you are the Son of God who died and rose again to redeem us all. I accept your Lordship now and forever. And as such,  I know that I have been delivered from sin and death. I know I'm brewing with eternal life from within; and thus have a place with God, not just here but also in eternity. Thank you Lord for answering me, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
