- Manifesting The Word

"But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God's law for free men,  he will not only remember it but he will do what it says, and God will greatly bless him in everything he does." (James 1:25 TLB) 

God's Word always go with proofs. The scripture says it must have accomplished all that it was set to do (Isaiah 55:11). And God expects our lives to be tailored in the Word. That doesn't just mean living by it, but also living in it. 

Let me explain. 

He wants our daily experiences to be on the realities of the Word. That's how Jesus lived, and so lived above the limitations that easily sunk many. And how does He expect us to achieve this? On numerous occasions in scripture, the Word [commandment, judgment, statutes] of God is pronounced to work in this manner: "which if a man do, he shall live in them". And what that means is simple. It simply depicts that if we live by what the Word says, our lives will turn out how the Word says. It's the only math to it - live by the Word and you'd live in the Word. 

Our theme scripture says that if a man does the work inscribed in the Word, he shall be blessed in all his deeds. So, even the Bible acknowledges that there are works in the Word of God. There is a pattern of doing things it holds, and if we live in harmony to it, blessings will overflow to and through us. That's what God tried to help Joshua understand. As you meditate on the Word daily and do as it leads, you will find yourself discovering new lanes of success in all you do (Joshua 1:8).

And that's simply it! If you want the manifestations that are in the Word, then do the works prescribed in the Word. It will surely lead you where it led those who succeeded through it. As Mary told those stewards "Whatever He tells you to do, do it" (John 2:5). It's the only way to attain the heights God intends to take you - Obedience to the Word. So, don't just hear the Word, keep it and do it; show it in your attitude, for only those who do shall reap the blessings it gives. 

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, empower me to live by your Word daily. To exemplify all it says. Help me also by your Spirit to always live in obedience to it whether it's convenient for me or not. And teach me to continually discover the truths it holds, and to apply them towards success in all that I do.

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
