God's Word Works All The Time

DAILY VITAMIN

- God's Word Works All The Time

"As for God, His way is perfect! The word of the Lord is tested and tried; He is a shield to all those who take refuge and put their trust in Him." (Psalm 18:30 AMP)

In our theme verse, David affirmed that God's way never fails. When He tells us to follow certain paths and patterns in life, it is because they will inevitably bring us to a future He has designed for us; and we can count on Him. He continues, saying, that this is because His Word is tried and tested, and never disappoints those who trust Him for it. I can tell that that could be you and I today; because it was David in his day, and he testified afterwards that by it God made his feet swift and strong and brought him into a high and wealthy place (Psalm 18:19, 33).

Even Habakkuk had the same testimony. He said that though things did not work out as he had planned, but he kept rejoicing at God's Word and God eventually brought him into a high place (3:17-19). You see, God's Word always brings us to a place of glory when we believe (and obey) it. That's what Jesus meant when He said you shall know the truth and be set free (John 8:32), and then told us that this truth is His Word (John 17:17).

The more we receive and believe God's Word, the more established the promised reality becomes in our present reality (Isaiah 7:9). That is, we have to believe it; and why not if it always works? The scripture says it brings enlightenment (Psalm 119:130) and deliverance (Psalm 107:20). In short, His Word can do everything but fail; and only you can do that through unbelief (Hebrews 4:2).

Hence, it doesn't matter how things may look, if God has given you His Word of promise you best believe Him to come through, because His Word works always.

Confession:

God's Word works for me every time. Everything it says concerning me comes true when I believe it. It changes my life upon faith in it; and brings to pass all God says about me in my daily realities. It has never failed before, and I'm very confident that I'm not so special to have it fail in my life. Thank you Jesus!
