- Put Your Faith To Work

“Jesus answered and said unto them, verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.” (Matthew 21:21-22)

This will change your life if you’d only accept it and practice it every day. Jesus said “Truly I say unto you, if you have faith” [what is faith? Faith is simply accepting God’s Word as it is without wavering], “and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more…You can get anything- anything you ask for in prayer- if you believe” (TLB). Praise God!

This isn’t a suggestion, it’s a principle; and if you believe it enough to practice it with all consciousness, it will bring you results. For God’s sake, it was how Jesus lived, and He never lacked result. If you do the same, you will get the same.

So, do the same today: Apply your faith in every area you might be having difficulties. Take it to God in prayer, and believe that it already is as you have spoken without a doubt, and its material form will manifest. You see, faith works like a made-by-order manufacturer; nothing happens until it is put to work. You are not going to find what you desire until you demand it, and we do this by believing God, and declaring His Word, with corresponding actions. The result might not manifest instantaneously, but it has been settled; while sometimes it might. What’s important is that we make sure we are practicing faith through it all, and not fretting.

Scripture says Daniel was rescued from the lions because he believed God (Daniel 6:23). I don’t know what ‘Lions’ are in your life now, but I do know that if you’d trust and believe God at this time, you will come out of it victorious. Thus, have faith today!

Confession:

I put my faith to work every day, and it works wonders. As I believe, I receive. The Bible says that when I choose to trust, like a mountain I will not be moved by any circumstance. Hence, because I completely believe that things will turn out as God has spoken concerning me, nothing can overturn my victory; no condition can spoil my joy; because indeed I shall come out strong from them all as more than a conqueror.

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
