All Creation Awaits

DAILY VITAMIN

- All Creation Awaits

“For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.” (Romans 8:19)

What we do as humans affect what happens to all of creation. That’s how much dominion God gave us. In the Old Times, and maybe till now, when man wronged God, all other creatures suffered for it- such as in the fall of man. Joel spoke of a time when the land was languishing due to the ill-actions of the people and even the animals cried. He said they literally cried unto God (1:20). Little wonder why our theme scripture tells us that the same creation are also keenly expecting the evidential revelation of the sons of God.

Please understand that this isn’t scheduled solely for the end of time. No! But to you, it is whenever you come awake to your full potential in God. Isaiah spoke also of how things will be when the sons of God are made manifest. He said that the babies would play with the adders and no one would get hurt. That’s figuratively supposed to mean that peace, joy and hope will be largely restored.

In essence, that’s your total package in the Lord to humanity. That’s what you are expected to bring to the table every day. The birds are crying for this every day; the animals are howling. The trees shake in anticipation for it; the rivers splash in expectation. Because they’ve been placed under an unusual siege that only our manifestations as light can unbound (Romans 8:20-23).

So, believe me, how you live matters. Just imagine the sun not shining for a week; what would it cause? Death, right? In all ramifications. Well, God called us a ‘sun’ in this world when He ordained us lights. Our unfulfilled potential can mar the prospect of many. So every time you wake up, remember always that the world awaits you.

Confession:

I am full with the hidden treasures of Christ. I embody His very light, and thus give radiance to all around me. The glory of the Lord surrounds me and His grace adorns me to make long-lasting impact in my environment in line with His will for me. Amen.
