- Get On The Offensive
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8)
      The devil is an adversary; meaning that he is always looking for a means to hamper the smooth materialization of God's will towards His people, either by manipulation or what have you. So, he is always against your manifestation as sons of God on the earth.
      But truly can he stop it? Not so, unless you let him. He couldn't stop Jesus, and is in no position to stop us either, unless we fail in understanding. Understanding what? "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God..." (Ephesians 6:12-13).
      Life is spiritual, and is indeed truly a warfare; we are in a battlefield. We have been declared victors in Christ; yet we mustn't fold our hands. With this conqueror mentality, we can't just sit back, we must get on the offensive. And how do we do this? With the Name of Jesus, by the power of the Word, and the assurance of His blood.
     Demons are powerful, but in comparison with what we've been given, what they have is insignificant. Philippians 2:10 says "That at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, of things in earth, and things under the earth". We have been redeemed by the Blood for victory; and by the Word, the sword of the Spirit, darkness is overcome. In His Name, all entities are put in subjection. Even the devil. So, don't wait for him to attack first; it's always his intention to attack. Hence get ahead of him.
     Scripture says the church has been built and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. This means the church is a moving force, and Satan can't stop it. In other words, we have been licensed to win; we just have to do all He wants us to. So, get on the move; be on the offensive, and put all the darts of the enemy to rest.

Confession:
I'm on the winning side. I belong to a group that never loses. The enemy comes against me in one way and flees in seven. This is because in the Name of Jesus, I ruin their every endeavour; by His blood I eradicate all their attempts; and in the power of His Word I exercise my authority over them all. All this to the glory of God. Amen

Giving Generously

DAILY VITAMIN  There is a difference between giving and giving generously. Generosity is more than just how much you give, but how hearted you do. What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. Richly, not in terms of quantity or even quality, nor quantifiable mass, but richly based on how much from the heart it is given. Was the heart rich in compassion, God's love and mercy as it gave? Or was it full of egotism, self-pride and every trait that makes him believe it is all in his power? Remember, a broken heart and a contrite spirit[full of the first traits], God wil not despise (Ps 51:17); and as long as there is a willingness of heart and readiness of mind[spurred by genuine love], it is acceptable towards God (2 Cor 8:11-12). DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.
