Christ In Your Heart

DAILY VITAMIN
- Christ In Your Heart
"And this is the secret: Christ in your heart is your only hope of glory" (Colossians 1:27 TLB)
The primary reason why you can be confident of your new status in God is because of that very simple truth- Christ in you. The day you became born again, not of the corruptible, but the incorruptible seed by the Word of God, Christ came into your heart by the Spirit. That day you were sealed as a royal member of the Kingdom of God by the Holy Spirit. And that very same day a newness of life began for you (Ephesians 1:13, 1 Peter 1:23).
However, to get the best of this union you have with God through Christ, you must actively stay conscious of this truth - Christ in you. The day Christ came into your heart, God came into you in His fullness, with the capacity to lead a life that is pleasing and worthy of Him. That's why you can presently live loving Him and for Him.
But it's important you actively, as I said, stay lively in this consciousness of understanding to live in the daily realities of the fruit it brings. Paul said to the church in Ephesus "And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts, living within you as you trust in him. May your rootss go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love" (Ephesians 3:17 TLB).
His presence in us is a proof of our union with Him, and assures us of everything good (2 John 2-3); yet we must groom out of this privilege the realities it holds (Colossians 2:6-7). Remember, that's His aim. Scripture says "May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting comfort and hope which we don't deserve, comfort your heart with all comfort, and help you in every good thing you say and do" (2 Thess 2:16-17 TLB). We just have to make the best of it.
And this we can do by staying in fellowship with His Spirit daily. Praying with all prayers in the Spirit; and maximizing our time with His Word made available to us. We were saved by them (2 Thess 2:13); and they will also keep and sustain us. But we can, very much importantly, by abiding in His love as Paul wrote about (Colossians 3:14-15). As we live and walk in His love, we'd express in the maximum His very person in us (1 John 4:16). Hallelujah!

Confession:
Christ in me is the hope of glory. He is my right to the very fullness of God. By His presence in me, I'm whole, I'm strong, and I'm blessed- rising and never to fall again. I'm a light to my world, because Christ in me is an ever blazing light within. And so I have no worries regarding anything around me, because Christ in me is glory indeed. Amen
