Prosperity In Christ

DAILY VITAMIN
- Prosperity In Christ
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers." (3 John 2 AMP)
John's words in our theme verse to the Church wasn't an idea nor an opinion, and neither was it an assumption; it is God's will for all His people. Yes, His absolute will. It is what Christ came and died for.
In Ezekiel 34, we see the dilapidating state of the people of God; but then in verse 24 He tells us of a chosen Servant, "David" [which is only symbolic for His position as the well beloved of God], and about how He would bring a season of blessings for God's people.  And in verse 29-31, He specifically reveals that by provision of this Messiah, hunger, shame and separation from God will be a thing of the past.
We see this quickly exercised by Jesus even while He lived on the earth. In Mark 8, about four thousand wearied men with women and children were before Him, and He satisfied them all. Jesus' aim in all the world is to keep His people satisfied. The scripture says He took upon our poverty (our inability to have and give) that we might have His opulence (ability to abound in everything good) (2 Corinthians 8:9).
This supersedes just the financial; it includes everything as well. It's an all-round prosperity package we have in Christ. The Spirit says we have all things that are necessary for life and godliness through the glory and virtue of the person of Christ (2 Peter 1:3). He says all spiritual blessings in heaven [and their physical equivalent] have been willed to us in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). He says all things are ours because we belong to Christ in God (1 Corinthians 3:21-23). Yes! It is a covenant of prosperity we have been inducted into in Christ. So, don't walk about with a lack mentality; because through Him you have none. You have all the hidden wisdom and treasures of God in Christ. There's no lack at all. Glory to God!

Confession:
Thank you Jesus for your blessings that overflow in and through my life towards the people, the cities, the nations and the world at large. I have access into the very depth of the riches of divinity. As an heir of God, and joint heir with Christ, I have a bountiful supply of provisions for all my needs; with no lack whatsoever, to the glory of God. Hallelujah!
