Nothing Lacking

DAILY VITAMIN
- Nothing Lacking
"I can never stop thanking God for all the wonderful gifts he has given you, now that you are Christ's: he has enriched your whole life...(1 Corinthians 1:4-5 TLB)
Did you capture that last part? It says your whole life. Let me explain better. What he is saying is that when Christ redeemed you, He didn't start and stop with your spiritual life. He redeemed every part of your life. He redeemed your health, your finances, your societal position and what have you. As such, you are no longer an outcast. This is what the scriptures meant when it said that he that was once termed an outcast shall be called blessed of God (Isaiah 62:4).
Thus, there's nothing lacking in your life, because everything you need that is essential for a good and godly life has been aptly provided by Christ already. And He is in you. The good health you seek, the good job you desire, the good platform for impact you're pursuing are all resident inside of you in Christ. His sacrifice already purchased it; and it is independent of race, age, and societal status. Praise God! The Bible says "Now you have every grace and blessing; every spiritual gift and power for doing his will are yours during this time of waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ" (v.7 TLB).
Note the words, "Now", "every" and "till". It means it's not going to come tomorrow; your perfection has been settled already. You have all it takes to accomplish your purpose on the earth within you now. You have all it takes to live a good life in this world active within you (2 Peter 1:3). And also, you have enough to last you the entire journey. So, don't think your blossoming is only for a little while- temporal; because it's not. He says it's enough to afford you a great life till Jesus returns to take us from the earth into the eternal presence of God.
Please don't belittle yourself. Don't let your potentials be charred by the flames of ignorance and self-doubt. Don't look at your skin colour, your age, or your present state, and start to think contrary to God's Word. Every state and its effect can be changed in a twinkling of an eye. You just have to believe it, because God does. He sees no deficit nor deformity in you. He sees no disadvantage to your becoming the ideal man He intended for you. Colossians 3:11 says "In this new life one's nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant; such things mean nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what matters, and he is equally available to all" (TLB). You have no disadvantage. You have just as much access and license to anything that is God's as anyone else. Roman 10:12 puts it in a great way. It says "Jews and Gentiles are the same in this respect: they all have the same Lord who generously gives his riches to those who ask him for them" (TLB). You are fully insured and assured in Christ. You have all you could ever need in Him, and still exceedingly abundantly more that never have been; all you have to do is acknowledge this truth, and walk actively in its reality. Ask Him to unveil your heritage; and when He gives you a picture through His Word, live within the confidence it exudes.
With this understanding that all things are yours- both the things that are and those that can be, go out every day and dominate the circumstances surrounding you. Remember, keep your focus on this truth not the present before you. Because the more this truth subdues your consciousness, the more it will eventually seize your reality to bring forth all it entails. Indeed, you lack nothing. Glory to God!

Confession:
In Christ, all things are mine. It doesn't matter how I look, where I'm from, or where I've been, I have no disadvantage. I have no reason for failure or mediocrity. I have every resource for a successful life on the earth within me by His Spirit. By virtue of the Spirit of God, my possibilities are of the God-kind. And through Him, I shall experience them all to the glory of Jesus. Amen.
