God Still Delivers

DAILY VITAMIN
- God Still Delivers
"When he calls on me I will answer; I will be with him in trouble, and rescue him and honour him" (Psalm 91:15 TLB)
That testimony in our theme verse is for every Christian whose hope is in God alone- which I want to believe you are. If you aren't, this will be a good time to devote your life to Him all over again. But if you are, then all I have to say to you is congratulations.
In the old times, God showed that He has a special place for the Jews in His heart; and now through Christ we have all been declared Jews before Him. This means, He doesn't joke with us; and because of that things that trouble others to their deaths know that they can't have it so easy with us. In Jeremiah 50:33-34, "The Lord of Hosts says: The people of Israel and Judah have been wronged. Their captors hold them and refuse to let them go. But their Redeemer is strong. His name is the Lord of Hosts. He will plead for them and see that they are freed to live again in quietness in Israel..." (TLB).
Some other people might have been held down with no way out, but He says He will get you out of it. The Good News Bible explains better what He meant when He said He would 'plead for them'. It uses the term "take up their cause". Isn't that what God promises to do? To fight for us while we hold our peace. To show His strength where we had only weaknesses. In short, He is taking your place in the trouble; and that's beyond great news because when He appears before these troubles, they flee (Psalm 114).
In Psalm 11, we also see the enemy taunting David, saying that where would he find the hope for solace if the very foundation of his strength had been destroyed. But we see David responding confidently with God as his answer (v. 1,4). David understood that no matter how fiery the danger may be, or how tight the situation may seem, whenever they appear before him, the Lord will eventually show up with a standard against them (Isaiah 59:19). In your own case, You may not have the money now to settle those needs, but you've got the God, and all the silver and gold are His (Haggai 2:9). And He has you fully covered.
As it stands, you have maximum security in Christ Jesus. You have the victory all the time. Don't just accept the defeat when the fear of it comes; instead do what God prescribed: worry over nothing, and pray about everything (Phil 4:6 TLB), for when you call upon Him, He will always answer and save you from your troubles.
"When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up- the flames will not consume you." (Isaiah 43:2 TLB).
This is a promise God can never break. He says He will never leave you nor forsake you in your time of trials. With this in mind, don't let your possibility of a deliverance today be charred by the flames of unbelief; instead choose to believe, and in perfect response to that, ask it of Him today, and it will be. Amen!

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I know you will never abandon me in my time of need. I know that you will always watch over me to keep me safe and sound. I ask for a deliverance today from this hardship [be specific] I have been experiencing for a while now. I know that you will settle me and perfect me; and so let it be, this I pray in Your Name Jesus. Amen.
