You Won Before You Came
DAILY VITAMIN
- You Won Before You Came
"Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified" (Romans 8:30)
Remember what Paul said; we have been placed far above all powers of the enemy (Ephesians 1:19-21; 2:6). What a victory! The scriptures say we had been booked for glorification even before we were born. Like was said of Jeremiah "...ordained a prophet in thy mother's womb" (Jeremiah 1:5). It is a preordained arrangement by the Father for the exaltation of all His saints. So we won even before we were born. We were victorious before we came here. We were successes set on sail before we even started.
That's what the eternal transaction of Christ affords us. And now like Him, the enemy has nothing on us. You may look at your past and say "How can it be? I don't deserve it. It can't just be that I'm born to be victorious without even fighting for it." Well, it is what it is. God knew His love would find you while you were busy getting swayed in inadequacies; and in that love He ordained you to bear fruits of victory over the challenges of life. In that love, He ordained you more than a conqueror. The circumstances may be stealth, but Jesus said "Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33); and to you He reveals "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4 NKJV).
For God's sake, even the devil knows this for a fact; he's simply waiting for his final subjugation under our feet (Romans 16:20). Remember how the Legion begged Jesus to spare them; that's how they ought to beg you- for as He is, so are we right now. Hence, don't live in fear, live in victory. You are not waiting to be victorious, in Christ you already are. Thus, let your faith regarding this show your eternal position and superimpose your dominion in Christ today.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I magnify you because you have placed me far above all powers of darkness in Christ Jesus. And because of this, I live life enjoying sweatless victories. I exemplify the life that is more than a conqueror's. Thank you Lord for making me a winner even before my arrival. And it shall stay so, in Jesus Name. Amen
