Restored (1)

DAILY VITAMIN
- Restored (1)
"When the LORD restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream" (Psalm 126:1 RSV)
This is your day of salvation, the acceptable time God has chosen to compensate you for all your troubles (2 Cor 6:2). You simply have to believe it to experience it. You have to see it within your spirit as your only reality; for it is the truth of God's word concerning you.
It may not look like it now, or even like something that can happen suddenly, but don't be surprised because when God really acts on our behalf, it always comes forth as too wonderful to be true as seen in our theme scripture.
In Jeremiah 30:16-19, God says "But in that coming day, all who are destroying you shall be destroyed, and all your enemies shall be slaves. Those who rob you shall be robbed; and those attacking you shall be attacked.  I will give you back your health again and heal your wounds. Now you are called “The Outcast” and “Jerusalem, the Place Nobody Wants.” But, says the Lord, when I bring you home again from your captivity and restore your fortunes, Jerusalem will be rebuilt upon her ruins; the palace will be reconstructed as it was before. The cities will be filled with joy and great thanksgiving, and I will multiply my people and make of them a great and honored nation. " (TLB).
Isn't that too wonderful to be true? Yet He says He will do it. You may be in rags presently, but God says He will cause you to walk in royalty. Remember, He already did it for Joseph; and what He can do for one, He can do for all. He has seen your despoliation and has declared restoration to you. You may not have had anyone to help you, or to speak on your behalf thus far, but God has taken that position for you. He has yelled "restore!" where no one else would (Isaiah 42:22). He has become your Advocate and Stand-by; and promises to restore your lost fortunes. This He settled in Christ already. That is, when He said in Joel that He will restore unto us all the wasted years the cankerworms had created, He made provision for its fulfillment when He proclaimed it is finished in Christ Jesus.
All we have to do is believe and trust Him for it. Remember now is the time for your restoration. Have a strong will like Jacob not to let today pass by without your being settled. Demand it by faith. God has declared it, now you simply have to believe it- believe and proclaim that where you had shame, God has given you fame (Zeph 3:18-19).

Prayer:
In the Name of Jesus, I receive my restoration in Christ. All that is mine, I possess today. And all my shame are turned to praise. Lord I ask that today these and more shall be made manifest to the glory of Your Name. Amen
