No Lack, No Loss

DAILY VITAMIN
- No Lack, No Loss
"And he said to them, 'When I sent you out with no purse or bag or sandals, did you lack anything?' They said, 'Nothing." (Luke 22:35 RSV)
When God gives His word, He keeps it. And what has He said? He said He will pay back in full everything we seemed to have lost having obeyed Him (Mark 10:29-30). He says He will be our providence even in the dryness. He said the strong may lack what they need, but not His people (Psalm 34:10).
Just like the disciples in the opening scripture, perhaps you think you have lost more since you decided to serve the Lord. Maybe it appears as though what He has said isn't in anyway in congruence with what you are experiencing, and you are thinking of giving up, to you He says You haven't and won't lose. Remember, He already assured us that everything we do to His glory comes with a reward (1 Corinthians 15:58). So, you best believe Him.
Nothing lost is really lost with God. It's more or less an investment. It may not sprout forth immediately, but its assurance is guaranteed. In short, in all your endeavors He promises to never leave you in lack at all. As long as you are doing what He called you to do, where He instructed you to do it, and how He advised you to, you will never be in lack; because He always sees to the end all He's begun and is involved in (Phil 1:6).
You'd recall the story of Paul's voyage to Rome. They had lost everything they went with during the shipwreck and escaped with only their lives as God had said would happen, but notice how awesomely He works. At Malta, not only did they get a brand new ship to set sail with, but they also got every single thing they needed and had lost.
Dear friend, God will take care of you. Where you are, He will show Himself strong on your behalf. It's what He does daily just to ensure you lack nothing (2 Chronicles 16:9); for He has promised never to leave nor forsake us. Therefore, go out with this mentality that you can't lack anything. Don't mind your present circumstances; just go ahead thanking God for the constant supply that He has made available for you. In time, it will indeed show forth that in God you have no lack and no loss. Praise God!

Confession:
In Christ Jesus, all things are mine; and I have access to the deep things of the Kingdom. I operate under the working conditions of heaven, and so I'm always bound to be prosperous. I am a living proof of God's power, for in me is displayed the providential power of the Living God; to whom be all glory and praise. Amen.
