Jesus Knows Where The Fish Is

DAILY VITAMIN
- Jesus Knows Where The Fish Is
"Then He said, 'Throw out your net on the right hand side of the boat, and you'll get plenty of them!' So we did, and couldn't draw in the net because of the weight of the fish, there were so many!" (John 21:6 TLB)
The disciples had struggled for a long time to find a catch as they always did without Jesus, but then they heard a voice from the shore saying "Cast your net there and you will have a great catch!" They did, but it wasn't just some they caught, it was a lot. Immediately this happened, John knew it was the Lord. Remember, He had done the same thing on Peter's boat before they all got acquainted. It was Jesus' signature move- the ability to find a way where there seemed to be no way.
The moral behind this story in scripture is simple. And it is that Jesus knows how to simplify our complexities in all ramifications. When you don't know where to go to find peace and rest, Jesus knows. He knows the market you should trade in to get the success you desire- be it as a small business owner or as a stock mogul. He knows how to make it work out even when the odds are against you. Remember, it is He who gives springs in the deserts (Isaiah 43:19).
He knows the right path, the right word, the right song, the right step that will lead you to the top. All you have to do is get Him involved in your everyday moment by moment plans. The Scripture says that as soon as the disciples were willing to take Him into their ship, immediately they reached their destination (John 6:21). That is what getting Jesus involved in your work can do for you- success where all you've had has been struggles. It is possible that the difference between where you are now and where you ought to be in glory is the decision to get Jesus involved in your affairs.
He knows how to help you. You're a person of interest to Him, and so He will. He says He will exalt whom He desires, even the basest of men (Dan 4:17); all you have to do is tread carefully where He leads. He knew how to help Peter get the funds to settle the debt even if it had to take a mere fish to bring it to materiality; He can help you too. Remember, all things were made by Him, through Him and for Him (Col 1:16); and He says He won't cast you away if you come to Him for help (John 6:37). We might be clueless as to what to do next in our various endeavors, but He never is. He knows where the fish is; He knows it all, and He will help you. Simply get Him involved today.

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you because you have said you will never leave me nor forsake me. I ask that you take charge over all my affairs in life. I surrender myself to your guidance and wisdom, for I know that with you I can never be misled. I know that with you I will get to the very promised land that you have prepared for me. And so shall it be in all aspects of my life, in Jesus' Name. Amen
