Sufficient Grace Just For You

DAILY VITAMIN
- Sufficient Grace Just For You
"And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation]." (2 Corinthians 9:8 AMP)
Did you see that? It's the most splendid piece of information you may ever come across. It says God is able to give you all His grace in sufficient measures so that you can increase in goodliness. This covers all aspects of life. For instance, it means that no matter how labile you have been in life, God can make you strong again. No matter how deep in sin you may be, God is able to restore you to righteousness. In fact, He says the deeper the sin, the deeper the grace to swallow it in Christ (Romans 5:20).
Also, He says that even if you are presently in a jeopardous situation, He is able to deliver you. Let's take Jonathan's story for example. Jonathan, though a prince, had suffered oppression from the Philistines; and on a certain day as he took a walk with his servant along the Philistine border, he saw a score enemy soldiers who would eventually tease them as being weak. But notice what he said "Perhaps the Lord will do a miracle for us. For it makes no difference to him how many enemy troops there are" (1 Sam 14:16 TLB).
We may look at the size and strength of the enemy, but not God. He considers His own strength, and so should we. But as for Jonathan, was it just a "perhaps" situation? No! The scripture says "suddenly panic broke out throughout the entire Philistine army, and even among the raiders. And just then there was a great earthquake, increasing the terror" (v.15). He deposed every opposition. Remember, He is the God who can and will supply all your needs by His riches in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19); and the God who is too faithful to fail even when we are faithless (2 Tim 2:13).
So, you can be confident that God will also help you in your own fiery situation. He will do a miracle because His grace upon you validates that. He will strengthen you in weaknesses and help you when things get tough. By His Word in your heart, He will produce every good thing you want from within you. Glory to God!

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you for your grace that overflows in my life. I know all my needs are supplied by your Spirit in me and so I am never at a disadvantage. Thank you Lord in Jesus Name. Amen
