Destined To Shine (1)

DAILY VITAMIN
- Destined To Shine (1)
" Arise, my people! Let your light shine for all the nations to see! For the glory of the Lord is streaming from you". (Isaiah 60:1 TLB)
Wow! Do you understand what that means? It's so good that even Jesus had to repeat it again (Matthew 5:14-16). God is not saying that you are going to receive the capacity for greatness soon; No! He says you already have the capacity for greatness from the LORD within you. Glory to God!
He says that as a result people from all around the world will come to admire you (v.3). That means there's hope for you and I my friend. You may be passing through a hard time today, but He says very soon because you have been faithful, you will be surprised all of a sudden how His blessings will overflow in materiality through your everyday life (v.5). Remember, this is coming from within you. The Spirit of God in you will make it possible.
People around you may not appreciate who you say you are in the Lord today. They may even go further to mock and use cuss words against you. Even at that, don't fret; recall that they did the same to Jesus. And just as God brought elites from strange lands to honour Him, He says He will use strange and unprecedented avenues to bring your due honour in His time (v.10). Yes He will do it. Remember He is the God of all flesh and nothing is too hard for Him to do (Jer 32:27).
Therefore, as you go out today henceforth, let the aura of the God-inspired confidence be sensed all over you. Let your approach and dispositions towards life depict that regardless of what's happening around you, what has happened in you is proof enough that glory lies in your destiny. And you can start now by going ahead to thank God for such a glory-laced life you have received in Christ Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I thank you indeed because as You are, I am the light of the world. I'm no longer a victim of darkness and oppressions. I walk in sweatless victories. My needs are forever met by the Spirit, and my supply is ever flowing to the glory of God in Jesus Name. Amen
