As He Speaks Of Christ, So Also He Speaks Of You

DAILY VITAMIN
- As He Speaks Of Christ, So Also He Speaks Of You
"In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17 AMP)
When God looks at you and I- Christians, He sees the express image of His Son Jesus Christ. Just as He is the express image and effulgence of the Father, we are in His glory the express image of the Son. This means that whatsoever God had said concerning Christ, He was also talking about us. That is, when you read the Word of God, whatever God said regarding the Son, He was also saying regarding you.
Remember, He said of Christ, "Sit here beside me in honour until I crush all your enemies beneath your feet" (Hebrew 1:13); and of us He would also say, "the Lord will soon crush Satan under your feet" (Romans 16:20). So, by redemption, all the blessings and glories of Jesus Christ are also ours in expression. Hallelujah!
Doesn't that excite you? It should; because it means that you have dominion over all circumstances. Even death don't have a thing on you, neither does it have any right over you. For instance, consider Paul, a man like you and I, who was negotiating whether he would pass away or not (Phil 1:21-25). He chose his own moment. Not even life or death could enforce anything on him. Something similar to what Jesus said, "I lay it down, no one taketh it away from me (and no one can) for I have power to lay it down and power to take it back" (John 10:18).
What gave him such audacity? His understanding of God's truth regarding us. And so Paul says "God has already given you everything you need...He has given you the whole world to use; and life and even death are your servants. He has given you all of the present and all of the future. All are yours, and you belong to Christ, and Christ is God's" (1 Cor 3:21-23 TLB).
You are walking in the light of Christ, and so you have no limitations nor disadvantages. Live with that audacity, and in this understanding; because everything He says is Christ's, today He also says they are yours (John 17:22). "May blessing (praise, laudation, and eulogy) be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) Who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual (given by the Holy Spirit) blessing in the heavenly realm!" (Eph 1:3 AMP).

Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank you for seeing me in the same light as You see Jesus, having given and made me all that He delivered unto me by redemption. And so I walk in this authority and glory you have given every day of my life, every time from now on and forever in Jesus' Name. Amen
