Another Jesus By The Spirit

DAILY VITAMIN
- Another Jesus By The Spirit
"The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the suffering and afflicted. He has sent me to comfort the broken-hearted, to announce liberty to captives and to open the eyes of the blind." (Isaiah 61:1 TLB)
The Spirit of God is the comforter not only because He comforts us, but because He enables us to comfort others (2 Cor 1:3-4). Look at what Isaiah said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me...He has sent me to comfort..." In other words, we have been given the same ministry Jesus had on the earth. Hallelujah! By the Spirit, we continue the work of Jesus on the earth for the liberation and edification of men and the glorification of our Lord.
Jesus said that as the Father had sent Him [for the same purpose and with the same power], He has also sent us (John 17:18); and in John 15:27 He tells His disciples- of which we are enlisted -that they must serve as witnesses of His person before all of mankind. And Paul reiterated the same in Romans 15:16-19. Then the question becomes, how do we witness His person or gospel? As Paul said, in words and deeds.
Remember, what John wrote, we must love [express the God Life] not only in words, but in deeds and in truth (1 John 3:18). And so this means that we are given the Holy Spirit not only to preach Christ, but also to live Christ. That is, we are not only going to tell people of the love of Christ towards them, we are going to express that love of Christ towards them. We are not only going to tell the sick they are healed, by the power of the Spirit in us we are going to heal them. We are not only going to tell the destitute that all is well, we are going to make all well for them. We are going to become the Jesus they see.
When approached by Bartimaeus, we are going to cause him to see clearly. When the hemorrhagic woman comes before us, we are going to cease her pain; all of these through the power of Christ at work in us. As you read the Word of God, you'd understand that we were Jesus all along in the eyes of God as regard all the stories told. We were the ones giving the solutions, not the ones having the problems. Recall, as He is [even now] so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). It is our destiny and true ministry as believers by the Spirit of Christ in us. Praise God! And never forget Jesus words, "I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father." (John 14:12 AMP). You are another Jesus (the most accurate representative) by God's view to your world. Live like one.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I thank you for as You are, I bring comfort, peace and hope to my environment. I am God's agent of change in my surrounding. And through my life, many shall cling to the Lord in Jesus Name. Amen
