All Things Are Possible With God

DAILY VITAMIN
- All Things Are Possible With God
"David continued to succeed in everything he undertook, for the Lord was with him" (1 Sam 18:14 TLB)
I'm very sure a lot of us feel exactly as David did in those days. Here was the least significant boy in the house of an average income earner from Bethlehem, now working in the King's stead, and was one step from getting married to the King's daughter. However, one thought kept bothering him; which was "how am I going to find the dowry to marry a King's child looking at my fore-and-back ground? (v.23)".
Looking at where he was coming from, it left him with little hope; looking at where he was and how he had been demoted at work, he felt worse. Isn't that also how many of us feel presently? A great offer for a house in the suburbs gets presented to you at a discounted rate, but even with the cut in price, you still ask how you're going to afford it, seeing how unprofitable your present job is. Or perhaps you believe God has brought a great lady your way whom you intend to marry like David, but are intimidated as to whether you can appropriate the life her family expects of you. It doesn't matter whether your case is intertwined with one of these two scenarios, or not, what matters is that we all have circumstances that defy our aspirations by revealing how meagre our present really is, irrespective of gender.
But what did David do? Even though he acknowledged that he didn't have much, he never wrote himself off. He knew God could do anything anyway. Remember what Jesus said, humanly speaking it seems impossible, but not with God; for with God, all things are possible (Matt 19:26). Isn't that awesome? At least now like David you can choose not to be scared anymore as to whether your dream can be fulfilled or not; because with God it can.
And here's how He does it: He gets low with us, so as to raise us high with Him. Isaiah said " In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the Angel of His presence saved them; in His love and in His pity He redeemed them; and He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old" (63:9 AMP). That means even when the conditions aren't favourable, He will carry you through. He can give you that job that will bring in six months what had seemed unrealistic for six years. He can compensate you, so that you don't have to be ashamed before men anymore. He can do anything; and He says He will do it for you. He says "only ask, and I will give you the nations of the earth" (Psalm 2:8 TLB). If God could break all limits and all bounds to give you Jesus, He can and will do any and everything for you (Romans 8:32). You need only believe and ask; knowing that it will be as said. "For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]." (Mark 11:24 AMP).

Prayer:
God Almighty, I thank you because you have promised to supply all my needs without fail. Even when things look bad and impossible, you still do so. And so I know I have no limitations, no disadvantages, and no impossibilities now in Christ. Through You I can and will do all things in Jesus' Name. Amen.
