Who Can Understand The Lord Completely?

DAILY VITAMIN
- Who Can Understand The Lord Completely?
"Who has directed the Spirit of the Lord, or as His counselor has taught Him? With whom did He take counsel, that instruction might be given Him? Who taught Him the path of justice and taught Him knowledge and showed Him the way of understanding?" (Isaiah 40:13-14 AMP)
There is a character God exhibits that I believe all men should also be careful of, in order not to jump into conclusions about Him. And this character is the Unpredictability of God.
You see, it is an easy task to guess what a man would do next after a series of study about him; It is also easier to guess what animals and plants would do next after a series of experiment with them. In fact, it is easy as well to guess what the devil would do next after several encounters with him, but no matter how much study we have done of God - whether millennial or centurial studies, we can never easily say what He might do next....He remains a Mystery unto the wisdom of men.
When you believe He would rain down brimstone on the enemy line, He would call them unto repentance, as He did to Samaria (Luke 9:54-56). When you think He would call to repentance, He would place an instant judgment on such an individual, as with the Prophet from Judah, in the account of the Kings, who disobeyed Him. But for the grace of Christ, He preserves us; yet some of us have grown too complacent to think we can study God as we do a book. And so can act anyway we want. No! We can't, even if we had a billion years on our clock; but by His mercy and for the sake of fellowship He reveals the part of Himself we need to draw the more closer to Him.
So never for once take Him for granted, for though He may be a Lamb, but within He is a Lion: Little wonder why every writer in the Bible used the phrase ''Fear Him''. Though at the end of time we shall be as He is in perfection, and now we know what He does by virtue of His Spirit, however it's not enough reason to think treading towards carnality is pleasing to Him.
Hence, I admonish you to always live in the fear of God - in your daily lives and in your daily acts, because truly we never can say what He might actually do; for these are what make Him the Consuming Fire - His awesomeness, His Majesty and His Unpredictable nature.
