You Will Get There Because You Can

DAILY VITAMIN
- You Will Get There Because You Can
"I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am [h]self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency]" (Philippians 4:13 AMP)
Mary McLeod Bethune started what would become a great American College with nothing more than six dollars. Walt Disney started his dream with only about forty dollars to his name. While Jose Feliciano, on the other hand, became a great composer with just an old piece of guitar. What this means is that life may give you limited options, but only you can choose your limits.
The Bible says that He has blessed us with all the blessings there are to be men and women of great virtue (2 Peter 1:3, Ephesians 1:3). The present lack is not a good enough reason to end up as nothing in life; but the gift of God in you is enough resource to be everything you can ever be. You just have to believe in all you can be just as He believes you can.
You're not a limited being. You may be out of cash, or in a field that is not really your forte, and so you think "what good can come out of me now?" That is just your present circumstance; and remember you are much more than your circumstances. Nevertheless, it still doesn't mean your life has ended. It can't and won't end unless you say so. You hold the pen that determines how far your chapter of exploits goes.
But you just have to be resilient, and full of faith, to maximize the power and audacity of positive living. Snub what others call reality, and create your own. There is no rule that mandates you to fail in life, unless you just made it up recently. And so, You can be anything you want to be. You can grow into the person God says you are; you just have to be willing to go beyond where you are.
Now, listen to what Jesus said about you: "you are the light of the world" (Matthew 5:14). That means that even though you may have been eclipsed by life's circumstances, you are still the light of the world. In you is the capacity to shine bright in life. The circumstances presently may not favour you, but the capacities within permit you. Like Mrs Bethune, even if all you're worth presently is six dollars, you can still spend the rest of your life dining with presidents. You just have to be ready to go beyond where life says you can go. Going is a sign that you are growing; and growing is proof that you will get there. You will get there! Glory to God!
