Speak Encouraging Words

DAILY VITAMIN
- Speak Encouraging Words
"Help others with encouraging words" (Romans 14:19 MSG)
One of the most interesting kind of literature and tale is the Fiction; of which we have heard a bit of, or at least imagined when we put ourselves in other men's shoes. And funny as it may seem, these stories often time inspire us even more than those we clearly watch in reality through the lives of men.
For instance, there's the story of a young eight year old girl - Kasey, a lass who lived with so much great enthusiasm as though daytime never ceased. At the interesting stage of her infantile life, Kasey was diagnosed with Leukemia; and therefore was bed-ridden far away from the stars she'll did love to sit under the nearby sycamore tree as she watched them glare in their enviable magnificence.
But that wasn't the most awful part. Other than being bed-ridden, her surrounding mates, and familiars never gave her any sense of hope, as they all carried their sobbing and soggy faces before her, infesting her atmosphere with hopelessness as though the world was closing in on her all at once in one big black circle.
Ironically, even her own parents couldn't inspire her that she was going to get out of that sick bay; and this act alone made Kasey's heart so heavy that it sank the light of her big heart.....
And this traumatic feeling didn't stop, at least not until Alison -the girl referred to as the 'sadist of town' came around, and re-lit her solar plexus, by instigating a hope of tomorrow in the today of Kasey, by simply saying ''Everything's gonna be alright!'
The action of Alison in context just reveals to us the power of word and its effect on a bleeding heart. It can come from anyone. And like her, you don't have to be a pastor, or anything; you just have to be somebody ready to rekindle the lost hope of the hapless. Because those words can change his entire life.
Comforting words are so strong that they can pick up the bruised from the miry clay, dust him up, allowing him to walk home a new and clean slate.
Relative to that, have you ever encountered a heart that bleeds as Kasey's? Or do you have one around you now? Well, that's your cue today to be an 'Alison', and help mend such a heart that's been meshed by the cruel ordeals of life. The Bible encourages us to have our words seasoned with grace at all times to help build the listener. As such, this is a green light for you to go straight to them when everyone else leaves them with no hope, and say 'Everything's gonna be alright'; for while it might just look to be a mere build-up of words, it carries an aura of hope that eventually saves even the already dead.
Thus, how much of the "dead" are you willing to keep saving with your words, and how much of the living are you ready to keep keeping alive? There's always a right word to say for each of those moments and circumstances; when the time comes, say it and you will be saving a lot.
