- Live Above Fear
"...Do not be afraid; I will help you" (Isaiah 41:13 GNB)
In almost every Bible translation, the statement 'FEAR NOT', or something that connote that appears 365 times: that is one for every day of the year.
But for the ordinary everyday man, he asks 'Why would God so all powerful concern Himself with this constant daily instruction for mankind to impede the hold of fear?'.
The truth is that God constantly reminds us since He sees it wise because He has shown us from instances that all He has prepared for us is right there before us, but except we take it, it will remain untaken by us; and as if that's not bad enough, it might even remain that way from cradle to grave.
He has also shown us that it's not just enough to believe, we must also act out our belief: and this portion of life's activities-action-is what fear fights the most in us, and from us. It is certain that all of our faith is destined to culminate into action; and once action is impeded, the very essence of that faith has been shortchanged.
For instance, when Peter saw Jesus standing on water, feet to fluid.... with no structural support, and He called him to step into the waters, he believed he could go meet His Saviour.......which he did at least not until fear stole his preconceived action of faith from him, leaving him to sink in the miry dark waters of life.
When God tells us never to be afraid, it's not because its unnatural for a human to be. No! but because it's unnatural for Him to be; and we being as He is - His children, it automatically should become the same for us. Though the problems of life may come out cold against you, but always remember God's word '' He that is in you is greater...'', and cast out the fear that shifts your feelings and attention from God to what you seem to call a big deal.
Hence, whenever you sense the urge to remain scared; regardless of what's presently occurring around you, always recall that God specifically hid those words openly 365 times in the Bible for you, telling you that for every day of your 365 walk in life a year, He expects you to cast out that fear, trusting in Him always!

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
