Imbibing The Nature Of Faith

DAILY VITAMIN
- Imbibing The Nature Of Faith
"Therefore, [inheriting] the promise is the outcome of faith and depends [entirely] on faith, in order that it might be given as an act of grace (unmerited favor), to make it stable and valid and guaranteed to all his descendants--not only to the devotees and adherents of the Law, but also to those who share the faith of Abraham, who is [thus] the father of us all. As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in Whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed. [For Abraham, human reason for] hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be. He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah's [deadened] womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God" (Romans 4:16-20 AMP)
The very thought of the ordinary Homo sapien tends to point towards the natural way of things; and so when a miracle happens, doubts springs up; when revelations come, disbelief throttles out. In fact, everything that dismisses the capacity of our intellect becomes an issue to contend with.
In the Christian life, the major permissible act is faith. Faith to play the role of the eyes, ears, brain and tongue: that is, by faith, we see the impossible become possible; by faith, we believe there's a God to hear from. By faith, we know Jesus is our redeeming Savior, and by faith we call forth the unseen. And so, it becomes a dangerous thing to live the Christian life with our physical understanding of things.
God said 'they that worship Me....worship Me in spirit...' (John 4:24), showing the need for the act of constant believing whether or not there's a tangible proof. To be sincere, those that do and get uncommon things are largely those that believe in uncommon things- like Peter walking on the Sea of Galilee, or David slaying a man the height of multiple able-men; and that's something our natural senses can't do for us, only a supernatural one, which is faith.....
Little wonder why Jesus tagged faith the mountain moving machine (see Mark 9:23 paraphrased). Thus, in the last days of the second phase of the year, let's implement our faith unto attaining things that complement our positions as kings and priests before God- that is, everything God ordained for your life since the first day of 2019.
Note, the year's packing up both with the unclaimed blessings and the unproclaimed promises, yet by faith you can acquire yours, because faith call the unseen hurriedly into reality.
Hence, with your heart fixed on God, and your mouth filled with His testimonies, call your miracles to reality this year, by speaking words of faith and living the life of faith...which is the very life of Christ (the author and finisher of our faith)!
