Cheer Yourself Out Of Fear

DAILY VITAMIN
- Cheer Yourself Out Of Fear
In a world like ours where the greatest epidermic is fear, what sort of permanent solution can be proffered?
In fact, it is an overlapped pandemic common to both the man with cancer and even the man with just a cold. It haunts both the rich and the poor alike. It cripples the strongest of men; leaving him to believe he is lesser than he knows he actually is. And not just that, fear, in its sinister state, overwhelms the man, emptying him of every thought of betterness, until all he has left is a mindset jammed with impossibilities, shame and the 'its all over' view of all things.
It diminishes the actualization of an achievement that is very much attainable. For instance, when Peter shoved away fear for a moment, he walked on the sea of Galilee....leg on water manifesting upthrust. But at the entrance of fear, this high stander began to sink.
The grievous effects of fear are currently ruining nations, states, organizations and families, causing us to do what we do not desire to, and not to do what we desire to. If you noticed, Peter didn't just jump on water and started walking, he experienced something that drove out the crippling stock of fear within him; and that is our panacea to fear's defects.
Note, as the storm continually raged against their boat,..'they cried out for fear (Matt 14:26). They were all doomed, but in the midst of this doom, Jesus taught us the way out. He said straightaway 'Be of good cheer..'(v. 27).
Cheerfulness is your ticket out of your storm. When the blights of life come gushing out against you, remember that fear won't solve the problem; thus do something for yourself - while still working to make ends meet so as to settle that issue, and put up a cheerful spirit.
Hannah did that after her prayers at shiloh, for believe me the world and its elements won't strive to make you happy, you have to yourself; and in this joy of yours, seize the moment, as fear and impossibility begin to seem non-existent, and the reality of only what God can and would do becomes more real: for remember that the joy of the Lord (in you) is your strength!
It's a brand new day with brand new blessings, choose to live the full experience with a cheerful attitude.
