- Making Jesus Your Priority
One problem with man is his selfishness. As someone once mused that man is naturally selfish. Everyday we see everybody trying to advertise themselves; it's not like that's altogether bad, but if its against the 'rule of the day', then it is.
For instance, we see employees who are paid to advertise their employer rather using their working time to advertise themselves. If it were their spare time, then it wouldn't be that wrong, but with their bought time, that makes it worse than plagiarism.
The same thing can be likened to our walk of faith with God- or rather if you like, our Christian walk. Your life today was bought by God, and it is only candid that you use your bought time to advertise more of Him than yourself.
The angels proclaimed that God giving Christ to us brought glory to Him, peace to our world, and the goodwill we all now enjoy (Luke 2:14). So the ecstatic life we now live was only possible because God gave, and by so bought us out from chaos, slavery, bondage and a covenant we could never have kept. And so, it becomes wise for us to live advertising our new leading Employer.
Jesus, on earth, never advertised self, rather He advertised God, and in return He got all the fame there is (Matthew 4:24), spanning even beyond our time. Scripture says He had no will of His own but that of the Father (John 5:30), and His delight was to see that He pleased Him (John 8:29). So it's only logical you publish the employer, while He publishes you as He continuously keeps paying you with increase.
Thus, let's try to advertise God first in our lives, and watch Him advertise us before men (Matthew 6:33). Hence, let the watchword be- Refrain from being conceited, and relish in the advertisement of God through words and actions, for as we see on T.V, the character who advertises the product in just one set keeps on getting his face shown for years to come.
In other words, keep on advertising God with your life, and let's see if you're not going to be a regular headline on 'Mysterious Wonder' News update!

DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
