- Don't Settle
Comfort is every man's dream. In fact, to man, it's a sign that a goal has been reached. And the feeling it affords you reveals how good comfort is. Yet, in actual sense, there comes a time when comfort becomes a burden to men. This then begs the question why? Well, because as a result of our negligence, and reliance on its flair, we take up an attitude that displays levity- thus making us lesser than we once were before we attained comfort.
The principle of God for the diligent I believe is to keep beating your best. So many of us feel like we have conquered all there is the moment we cross a canal, forgetting that the seas lie ahead. For instance, the children of Israel thought crossing the Red sea would be the biggest achievement ever, and so became non-chalant towards God, and at the end only a few out of the many who crossed reaped the promise that laid ahead.
Same thing with Jehu who dealt so well with Baal only to get so comfortable that he ended up serving the same defeated Baal. You see, whenever we let our guards down, we indirectly raise the arm of our greatest fear up. No matter how much you think you have achieved, there is no law that says you can't do more. And choosing not to isn't humility, it's mediocrity.
Hence, rather than stay comfortable until you are nothing, keep doing the best God saw in you until you beat that best! Keep breaking borders and smashing barriers. Keep outdoing yourself; for as the scripture says the path of the just shines more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18)

What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
