- The Most Important Secret
One of the greatest secrets to human success is your ability to surrender the helm, even after your humanly best work, to Him who flourishes every good work unto fruition. Why men may call it being religious, God calls it wisdom. In the days of Asa (2 Chronicles 13), one thing was sure, and that was that Judah prevailed against all odds because they RELIED on God. Note, it never said they didn't work, but they never fully depended on their best, but on God's ability to complement the rest.
The grace of God was provided to aid our work, our responsibility, our essence; and so it would be right to say that without anything as work, there would have been no need for grace. For instance, God knew man would have to strive to remain in Him in the midst of the tempting train of worldly merchandise, despite having found Him; and because He knows that man's best ability can't completely fight off sin, grace was made available to sustain him, making the imperfect perfect by the perfection of another-Jesus.
In the same way, God has provided so much for you. He has stored up extraordinary gettings even sound wisdom to make good success (Proverbs 2:7), but to attain the extremity of such, apart from your own human best work, you must go back to the Source: that is, full reliance on God. Little wonder, on God's own taught course on success 101, He said emphatically to Joshua to always remain in the Word -Himself. He says "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate upon it day and night, and observe to do all that is written therein. For in so doing shall thou prosper and have good success" (Joshua 1:8). This is important because that's where true success permeates from - Him!
Hence, do you want to easily command the fringe blessings others are killing themselves for, pursue the most valuable one. The scripture that if we put God's first and all that He expects of us, all of such things will be ours (Matthew 6:33). Thus, that's a good place to start- trusting God completely; for then and then only would you be able to stand still and see the salvation of God upon your life in all situations. This my friend is the most important secret till date.
