Reconciliation

DAILY VITAMIN
- Reconciliation
The essence of Christ's life and death is for the purpose of reconciliation; that is, a continual saving process. Let's see it this way: you are a prize to take home; and regardless of how far we were in our lostness, God would go the distance to trade in His Son just to get you back. And so that means that when Christ was dying, He was doing just that; not because He merited death, but because He sort to bridge the gap to cover our lostness, and when He arose again, He did to give us the life God willed us to possess and the duty to extend it to others as well.
Just as Paul wrote in Romans 11:15, the casting away of the Son on Calvary hill reconciled us all back to God, and by His resurrection, we arose from sin to righteousness, from death to life, from judgment to peace, from condemnation to conversion, from hell-bound to heaven; and so now we can say that because He is holy, we are as well, for what the root is, so are the branches (v. 16). And so, I implore you to relish the beauty of so great a work done, that is the knowledge of how at the expense of His life, God took us away from zombie-mode in sin back to heirship in Him.
Let this be that period where we reflect back on how far we have gallivanted away from the position of the heirs back to the mode we were once and for all delivered from, and once we realize the extent of our espionage, let's return to Him, for sincerely I believe that there is no day to propel our return to Him than today in which He paid for it all with the currency of Himself. Let us go out there and gather back the rebellious back to God for their salvation.
Hence, let this be your returning unto reconciliation. Let this be your return to life.
