Look Unto Jesus

DAILY VITAMIN
- Look Unto Jesus
Let this season be the day you choose to live your life focused and entirely reliant on Jesus.
Permit me to say that the mystery of the word of God is the strength of the man who relies solely on God. We will indeed realize from the Nehustan scene in scripture (Numbers 21:8-9) that the picture of how Israel got saved every time by simply focusing on the hung brasen serpent illustrates the assurance of our safety in Christ if only we'd focus our attention on Him.
In that bewildered condition, regardless of how many times the serpent bit the congregation, it didn't matter as long as they kept their eyes up; in the same way, our challenges, our hardcore trials can't kill us, no matter how much they try, because with our eyes still fixed on Jesus, we are very much still in the game....with power above the serpents of the wilderness around us (Luke 10:19).
And you know the good part? Our blessed Assurance isn't anywhere hung like that serpent no more, rather He is glorified, far above all powers and problems; so believe God you are in for a more greater grace than that congregation ever had privilege to receive. Scripture tells us that He is seated in heavens, over ruling all powers and dominions that be; and to as many of us that believe on Him He gives the power to become sons of God (John 1:12). Note, not to be called sons, rather to be sons- just.as He is to the Father.
By this, we are sure of a great future in Him, not because the serpent won't be biting, but because even while they keep attempting to bite, we continually prevail over them, because our victory is mandated whenever we keep our eyes and hearts fixed on Jesus.
Therefore from henceforth, I want you to keep this at the back of your mind, and that is, that as long as you remain looking unto Jesus, the problems that seem to scare the hell out of you eventually will melt away, even the devil who constantly wearies you will eventually cease from your existence, because truly that is the victory that overcomes the world's ordeals, even our faith in Him.
