- It's Not All About You
I have come to realize that the most difficult thing in life is not becoming who you are meant to become, but being it without causing someone else to fall off. Most times, many of us display a non-chalant attitude towards the affairs of others as a result of our actions. We have so much soaked ourselves in a state of 'I don't care'ism, but whether we like it or not, God is interested in our influence on others. God is interested in how our lives affect the many lives of others.
In his epistle to the church at Jerusalem, Paul highlighted on the presence of witnesses all around us, both physically and in spirit, and one thing he desired was that the hebrews failed not before these witnesses through their actions (Hebrews 12:1). God does not expect the praying man to be the loudest voice in an insult bout. He doesn't desire the man who supposedly should be Christ-like to behave unseemly, somewhat worse than Lucifer himself. And other than the fact that the two sides of eternity are watching us closely; one to judge in righteousness, and the other to accuse unto condemnation, some other individuals depend on you and I to live our lives as rightly as possible in order to remain sane in Christ.
Ever wondered why Paul was so keen on edification? It's because in this complex globe, it is not a me-me game, but one of you and I. Life is not all about you. It is a community by which we can enhance one another's chance to reaching the summit of all God has invested in us. Your actions are liable to have a pivotal effect on my life, just as mine on yours, both in physical and the metaphysical; and so it becomes a mandate that for someone like this, an upright lifestyle by a person he looks up to trigger the same to be effective in his life.
For instance, Jesus would have had all the earthly riches He desired, but He never concerned Himself with that then, because He sought something of greater priority- of greater worth, which is to impart all who would follow Him with a life pattern to love God more than the world's promises, and by His grace the apostles did, and many more that follow till date do.
Today, God wants you in that number, not for the purpose of staying godly, but also for influencing others to choose godliness and good over evil. The witnesses are already watching, what are you going to choose? Remember, never forget that life is not about you.

What makes the poor fellow rich in the sight of God is how richly he gives even though in need himself. DAILY VITAMIN Decisions made out of anger or envy are not only self destructive, but they also affect the attitude of those we seem not to desire their hurt. For instance, when the sons of Jacob conspired to kill Joseph, to them it was the perfect way to get rid of the 'big dreamer' that made them all look like vision-less fellows, and had taken their father's affection from them; so they took it upon themselves and agreed that they were totally correct in their intended evil action. In everything you do always remember that love comes before ambition. Most times we get so carried away in climbing the ladder of success that we fail to recognize and notice when there are hands stretching high for us to help lift them up.   DAILY VITAMIN - Actions Speak Loudest “Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.” (Matthew 5:16 TLB) It was 4:30 p.m., sometime in late January 2015. The students were crowded en masse for Laboratory Practice registrations. Everybody was there; the sleek guys and girls, and the geeks as well. And also there was myself, and my very good friend Earnest. We were both members of the Christian Community on campus; but Earnest was the more vocal kind. Well, on this day, the hall was replete with students and the process slow, but eventually it got to our turn. The Registration Officer (R.O) requested for the required fee and documentation and thus signed me up; however when it was Earnest’s time to get registered, he failed to ask for the fee.
