We Receive As We Believe

DAILY VITAMIN
I've come to learn overtime that our reception is a function of our belief; and so in actual sense, we are rewarded by-and with-what we believe. This is the key to why some nations seem more developed than some others; and this is because the individuals of these nations have a totally different set of beliefs- for while one believes in inventions and innovations, the other do not.
Jesus taught everytime He healed a man that ''according to your faith, let it be unto you''(Matt 9:29). That's like saying that we receive as how much as our faith dictates. This means that if we believe God is good enough to answer our petitions, then He is and will; but if we think He is incapable, He can stay incapable in our lives. If we believe He is full of abundance to supply all our needs, then He will; but if we doubt His providential power, it'd be as though He couldn't. If we believe He can restore our broken relationships that seem so irreparable, then He will; but if not, the reverse. If you think big things He can do and ask them of Him, believing, then He can do it. Remember, because of doubt and unbelief, even Jesus couldn't do much in the land He had lived all His life. This is because God is as big to us in our lives as we make Him.
The threshold of your expectancy is a revelation of the best you can ever receive. Most times, we don't receive what we think we ought to not because we couldn't receive it, but because we marginalized God to the bearest minimum that our reception of such became impossible. It's like this, when you say a seed won't grow, and continually fuel that fact by constantly failing to water it, it dies off soon. In the same way, when you constantly fail to express faith enough to receive your miracles, and the obedience necessary to pursue it, it dies off as your capacity to receive weakens.
If there must be a receiving, there must first be a believing, because your ability to receive is dependent on your dare to believe. God said to Ahaz, no matter who you are, if you will not believe, you will never be established (Isa 7:9). Every form of establishment- whether spiritual or otherwise-must begin at the step of faith.
So don't say I can't get this, rather say "though there's no natural ability to receive, faith in God is enough capacity to obtain what must be received. If Abraham obtained the promise by patiently waiting in faith on God's ability, and obeying His words undoubtedly, then I'll do the same".
Hence, stir up your faith, and make up your mind to take responsibility for whatever outcome your life may produce- choosing at all times to believe God for the possible best that is yours in Christ Jesus; for believe me, there is a reward in true believing (Mark 9:23).
